Approach
My coaching approach was learned through Lumia School of Coaching and upholds the ICF code of conduct, of which I am a credentialed member. It is also directly informed by my experience as a trained artist and curator, combined with the challenges I have overcome in my own life.
I hold space within a non-directive template, which means I instinctively know you, the thinker, are the expert of your own life and will know best how to move forward. Above all else, I am curious about your experience, insights, and resources. My purpose is to focus your thinking and help reframe thinking patterns standing in your way. So, how do you want this story to end?

Training
I am a trained and credentialed ACC ICF standard Life Coach with an advanced certificate from Lumia in Life Coaching. I have over 200 hours of training and more than 300 hours of experience in coaching clients. I have a Master of Fine Arts in Curating from Goldsmith’s University of London and a Bachelor of Arts in Performace and Visual Art and Sound from the University of Brighton. Alongside my formal education, I have experience working with neurodiverse creatives, and I’m about to undertake another course specifically about coaching people with ADHD. I also have training in project management methodologies within the SCRUM and Agile. My approach is trauma, ADHD, and neurodiverse, informed, and client-directed. Please reach out if you have any questions or want to discuss this further.
FAQs
Why do you do what you do? My why grew from a difficult time in my life when I felt unheard and under-encouraged. Despite this, growing up, I intrinsically treated others the way I longed to be treated. I saw the best in people and knew everyone had unique talents, regardless of how shy or uncomfortable they appeared. I understood that bringing out the best in people was about being curious, asking questions, and taking time. That curiosity eventually led me to a career in art, music, curating, and community work. Two degrees, one company, and a fruitful career developing artist careers later, I trained as a Life Coach to offer anyone the opportunity to be supported and believed in because I know everyone is talented and deserves to live an enriched life filled with purpose.
Who do you usually work with? I often work with creative people in the cultural sector. My clients are artists, musicians, dancers, writers, curators, academics, business owners, directors, adventurers, or people wanting to return to their creativity and confidence or want a more connected, deepened, and enriched life experience. Please note, however, that although I work with creative people, our conversations are not limited to only that of creativity. My clients can bring any topic, goal, or problem. My biggest concern is to assist in optimizing people’s experience of life.
What happens in coaching? Life coaching is a focused, reflective, and non-judgemental conversation with a purpose. It’s a space to explore your values, habits, and potential while understanding your blocks and barriers more fully. I ask fundamental questions to help you identify and reflect on your resources and strengths so you can close the gap between thinking and doing more effectively.
What results am I likely to experience? With regular coaching, you’ll likely experience more self-awareness of your needs and value systems and gain more resilience, efficacy, and agency. You will likely become more available to take risks and live a more intentional and bold life. When you begin implementing positive changes, coaching can help you become more courageous, creative, connected, and self-fulfilled.
Are you a certified coach? I am a credentialed ACC Life Coach through the ICF. I trained via Lumia's ICF training program and continue to further my coaching education to be the best coach I can be for my clients. I am currently training to support my ADHD clients better. I also have an MFA in Curating from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BA in Art from the University of Brighton. I also have qualifications in Project Management and SCRUM.
How many sessions will I need? You can choose the duration of your coaching engagement, whether for a short period or an extended one. I am committed to working with you flexibly if you find my coaching valuable and beneficial. It's worth noting that the true impact of coaching occurs beyond the actual coaching session. I recommend allowing time for the insights from our sessions to settle and giving yourself sufficient time to take action on the learnings from the session. For this reason, I suggest scheduling coaching sessions no more than once a week.
What techniques do you use in coaching? I have been trained to facilitate a formal coaching conversation. I am dedicated to being a non-judgemental, empathetic collaborator who actively listens, asks thoughtful questions, and sensitively holds you accountable in a way we both agree. I use breathing techniques, visualization, reframing, and motivation within the coaching framework to have inspiring conversations that aim to propel you toward your desired future. The exercises I use address and reframe fear, imposter syndrome, negative internal chatter, stage fright, and procrastination.
